Can you save Playstation games with the Playstation 2 hard drive?

I don’t know if they can on the big Playstation 2. I thought about getting a Playstation 1 memory card, because my Playstation 1 games won’t save on my Playstation 2 memory card.

No. Since the PS1 didn’t have a Hard drive, there is no way to get a game to recognize it.

The only way to get a PS1 game to save, is by using a real PS1 Memory card.
PS2 Memory Cards will not work for PS1 games played on a PS2.

    yes if you use a playstation memery card. like stick the card in the ps2 and save the ps1 game on it lol hope i helped
