How much internet usage do ps3 games take up every hour? Games such as FIFA, PES, COD,
I have a 10gb Allowance.

with a 10gb limit, I wouldn’t bother playing online more than 1 hour per day.

it’s best to check your bandwidth, play a game online for an hour, and then check your bandwidth. if your isp doesn’t provide bandwidth monitoring…call them and ask.

hello. when you back up ps3 games i heard that you have to buy blu ray disks which are really expensive like $40 dollars each.is this true or not?what type of disks do i need to use to back my games up?also does my ps3 have to be modded/chipped to play backups?

Some PS3 games are on DVDs, some are on Blu-Rays. Check the back of the box maybe? It DOES need to be modded to play backups, if PS3 modchips actually exist.

Keep in mind that you need a Blu-Ray burner to backup Blu-Ray discs.

My grandmother said i can get a ps3 and the games for it if i can pay for it myself. Main problem is i wont be getting a job until around september to january. I currently have between $60 and $100. When and where should i try to buy one? Should i even bother?

I’m getting sick of my games getting deleted every time my ps3 breaks down and i have to send it back to sony. is there any way to save my ps3 games to a junk drive. my ps3 is not reading my junk drive so i cant save my games to it.

You can’t save the GAME itself but, format your thumbdrive to FAT32, then click on saved data utility and click on the game, then copy to thumbdrive.

I’ve always wondered what the little world with a 1 icon meant on the side of ps3 games!

That’s the game’s regional encoding. North American games are Region 1 and will only play in systems that read Region 1 discs (e.g., systems designed for use in North America).

My brother has a PS3 so I want some good games to play on it. I’m not really interested in war or racing games, and have already done the demo of LittleBigPlanet (I’m gonna get it).
What else might I be interested in?

There are tons of downloadable games on PSN that you might be interested in, but there’s way too many to list them all. Out of the ones I can remember, definitely Braid, PixelJunk Eden, Echochrome and Flower. Absolutely get Flower.

For regular games:

Prince of Persia
Guitar Hero / Rock Band / DJ Hero / SingStar
Portal (It comes packaged in the Orange Box – It has 5 games, but you’d probably only like Portal because the rest are first-person shooters) It’s also probably cheap by now.
Katamari Forever (The game looks ridiculous, but the fun you’ll have is just as ridiculous as how it looks)
Ratchet & Clank series.
Afrika (Beautiful game where you’re a photographer in Africa taking pictures for Nation Geographic – Pretty addictive formula where you earn money for your shots and upgrade your equipment)
