DO-IT-YOURSELF VIDEO: How to modify your PS2 Slim system to play burned PS1 backup games

*Modding a PS2 Slim system to read
backup playstation 1 game burned on
Maxell/Sony CD-R’s.

ATTENTION: Doing this process will “VOID” your warranty on your system
by removing the seal sticker off the bottom of your system
when dismantling. So If you don’t want to void your warranty,
then do not do this method.

Things you need to have:
(1)Mini glue dots and Duct tape(thin strips)
(2)Small Phillips screwdriver
(3)Small flat head screwdriver to pry open things
(4)Tissue paper or small pieces of cardboard material.

And a whole lot of patience with steady hands!

Notes: In the video I actually used a thin strip of Duct tape
because the mini glue dot wasnt strong enough
to keep the plastic pin from rising back up.

You can download PS1 games from:
http://romhustler.net They have a great collection.

Applications you may need:
Winrar and Alcohol 120% or something similar
such as Bootdreams or Discjuggler.

Special notes regarding download and burning
PS1 games: “Do not bother downloading
PS1 games that require to be on
more then one disc such as
METAL GEAR SOLID. For some reason
the PS2 doesn’t recognize the part 2 discs
on backup games.”

Is it possible to download a proper game from the Playstation Store onto more than 1 psp?

I know you get 5 licences usually. In the past me and my girlfriend have downloaded ps1 games such as theme hospital onto both our psp’s but only paying for it once, this is possible because we used/share the same PSN account.

Would the same 5 licences rule apply to a proper game such as GTA: Chinatown wars?

How do you download a game from playstation.com to a psp?

i wanna download final fantasy 7 (the original) on to my psp but idk how. can someone please help?

You first need to download a program called media go (which is provided free of charge on playstation.com). Then you need to install the program, and when you have it installed you can access playstation store for psp from that program. Then you log in to your playstation network account and buy the game. When you buy the game, plug in your psp using a usb cable to your computer and just click download and the program will automatically download the game directly from playstation store to your psp.
