How do you install psp games using your psp internet free without downgrading?
I have a psp 3000 with version 5.51 can i downgrade it and how do you downgrade it . I want to get games that are free without downgrading.
You need custom firmware to do that (download free games), and currently you can not downgrade from 5.51 firmware. You either need to buy a new PSP or used PSP with a lower firmware in order to downgrade or install custom firmware.

like the guy above me said you will need custom firmware (cfw) in order to play backups of games or use hombrew such as SNES,GameBoy Advance, N64 etc ……. only cavemen downgrade their psp’s these days.
the reason i say that is because that WAS an old way of using emulators witch couldn’t be played in the beginning of the psp hacking era.
To answer your question the psp 3000 cannot be downgraded anyways.(there is no need to downgrade your psp anymore now that all the emulators and apps witch were unusable before (back in the day) are now updated)
you must use something called ChickHen v1 or v2 in oreder to enable cfw and be able to play game backups and stuff for the psp 3000.
only the psp 1000 can be downgraded to v1.50
the psp 2000-2001 can be downgraded to v3.71
